College Ministry

embrace. equip. engage.

All of life coram Deo.

Serving young adults (18-25) by consistently pointing them to Christ as Creator-Redeemer-King and by connecting them to his people. We desire that young adults embrace the faith and each other, equip for a lifetime of faithfulness, and engage in the cultural conversations of our day, that Christ would be preeminent in all things. We have a recognized Student Organization at Valdosta State University called Coram Deo Christian Fellowship.

Coram Deo Christian Fellowship

We are a fellowship of Christian Students at Valdosta State University. Coram Deo is a Latin phrase that literally means “before the face of God”. Coram Deo captures the essence of the Christian life: that all of life should be lived as a continuous act of worship. In the words of RC Sproul, “To live coram Deo is to live one’s entire life in the presence of God, under the authority of God, to the glory of God.”

We meet almost every Sunday at 6pm on campus during the school year for Sabbath Dinner. This is a home-cooked meal followed by a time of robust worship. Follow @CoramDeoVSU on Instagram to stay in the loop.

Ministry Values

Gospel Primacy

We believe that the good news of Jesus Christ is of utmost importance and is the foundation of who we are and all that we do. (1 Cor. 15:3)

Holistic Worldview

We seek to disciple college students in a Holistic Worldview–a biblical worldview that sees the whole world as God created it: one unified creation in which all things find their cohesion in Jesus Christ (Col. 1:17).

Compelling Community

We strive to be a Compelling Community formed by and demonstrating this gospel. Our sins against God and one another are forgiven; no longer held against you.
(Gal. 3:28)
